LED displays and running lines

Dynamic LED displays and scrolling text indicators are electronic panels that present text or a pictogram in motion. The difference from a static sign is that a moving image draws the eye, so it is noticed in a crowded hall and in a corridor already full of signage. For a visitor with hearing loss this is the primary information channel: they will not hear a spoken announcement, and a text indicator closes exactly that gap.

The displays suit railway stations and airports, retail and business centres, hospital reception areas, bank and service halls, stadiums and concert venues, and educational institutions. A scrolling line shows queues, announcements and warnings; a clock display combines the time with a queue number; a dynamic evacuation display animates the direction arrow and adds the accessible route pictogram. Colour choice matters too: monochrome text reads crisply at a distance, while a full-colour panel can carry a pictogram together with its colour code.

  • LED scrolling displays — red, blue and full-colour (RGB)
  • LED clock displays — time and numeric information together
  • Dynamic evacuation display — direction arrow with accessibility pictogram
  • Dynamic text indicators as hearing support (scrolling)

When choosing, account for the viewing distance and the panel length it implies, room lighting, the language and character count of the text, and the control method (IR remote, computer or network). On escape routes a display supplements the static illuminated sign rather than replacing it — solutions are selected taking accessibility norm requirements into account. We will calculate the panel length and its position — request a free consultation.
