Kits

Call system kits are sets that already contain everything needed to equip a single location: the call button, an audible and visual signalling unit, fixings and connection parts. The difference from buying items separately is that the devices in a kit are already matched to each other, work on the same frequency and need no extra configuration. That is why they are most often chosen for quickly equipping an accessible washroom cubicle.

The kits suit washrooms in public buildings, hospital wards, schools and nurseries, hotel rooms, and small offices and shops. In a washroom kit the button is usually a pull cord: the cord hangs low, so a person who has fallen can still reach it. The signalling unit is mounted outside the cubicle, in the corridor — the siren is audible, while the lamp provides a visible duplicate for staff with hearing loss or for a noisy space. When both elements work together, a call does not go unnoticed.

  • Washroom alarm kit — pull-cord button and siren together
  • Kits combined with a mnemonic plan or tactile sign
  • Sets providing simultaneous audible and visual alerting
  • Ready-made packages that need no further configuration

When choosing, consider the number of cubicles or rooms, the distance between button and signalling unit, the power type (battery or mains), and who receives the signal. Where several cubicles are equipped, a receiver is added to separate the zones — solutions are selected taking accessibility norm requirements into account.
