Description

The stationary two-track (rail) ramp is a compact solution permanently installed on steps. It consists of two parallel tracks that are firmly fixed to the surface of the step and do not fold (they stay in a permanent position). The wheelchair wheels move up or down precisely along these tracks.

The top surface of the tracks is covered with a non-slip black coating — ensuring safe movement even in damp and wet conditions; the edges are protected by a strong aluminium/steel profile. Since there is no railing, the model is inexpensive, compact and easy to install — it barely changes the appearance of existing steps.

Such a rail ramp is ideal where there is no room or possibility to install a full ramp with railings but the raising/lowering of a wheelchair needs to be eased. The distance between the tracks is adjusted to the standard wheelbase of a wheelchair, and the length is made to fit the flight of steps. The slope depends on the step height, so an attendant (helper) is recommended during use.

The product is made to the size of the step and fixed with screws/anchors. It is designed in accordance with the standards for adapting the environment for people with disabilities.

The stationary rail ramp combines economy, compactness and constant readiness. It creates convenience for people with strollers while leaving the step free for pedestrians. When ordering, specify the number of steps, the width and the surface type.
