The single ribbed aluminium plate covers the step edge and forms a smooth transition surface — a wheelchair, walker and trolley pass without obstruction. The ribbed surface of the plate prevents the foot and wheel from slipping; a stop (lip) on the rear edge holds the ramp stably on the step.
