What material is the tactile tile made of?
Depending on where it is used, PVC, steel and rubber-based versions are available. Outdoor areas get a frost- and moisture-resistant type; indoor areas get a version rated for heavy foot traffic. Where are tactile tiles required?
At the start and end of stair flights, before pedestrian crossings, near lifts and entrance doors, and at points where the direction of travel changes.
