A staff room sign marks the teachers' room in a school or college. Tactile wayfinding in an educational building pays twice over: it gives independence to a pupil with impaired sight, and at the same time shows every other child how an accessible environment actually works.
The sign works in three layers: large high-contrast text for a partially sighted person, raised relief letters and pictograms for recognition by touch, and Braille dots for a fully blind user. One plate therefore serves visitors with very different levels of vision equally, and no companion is needed.
Text, size and colour scheme are made to order — you supply the room name. Solutions are selected taking accessibility norm requirements into account. We will prepare a complete set from your building's room schedule — request a free consultation.
