Description

Tactile warning strip (flat profile, yellow-black-yellow 5 stripes) — a sign warning people with low vision, the blind and partially sighted about stairs, kerb edges and hazardous zones. PVC (polyvinyl chloride) stripes are set in the aluminium profile — they are felt when stepped on and touched with a cane, and also stand out visually with a bright yellow contrast.

The profile is of anodised aluminium — light, corrosion-resistant, withstanding repeated sterilisation. The PVC stripes resist heat and cold, moisture and chemicals. The yellow colour (and in some variants an additional black contrast) is the colour of safety.

Adhesive or screw mounting — suitable for concrete, granite, marble, tile and other hard surfaces.

Target institutions: schools, universities, hospitals, government buildings, shopping centres, transport infrastructure (metro, station, airport) and other public places.

About tactile indicators

Tactile studs and strips allow local marking without destroying the existing surface: they make step edges, hazardous zones and guiding lines perceptible with a cane and foot. Stainless steel and durable plastic versions serve equally well indoors and outdoors, and the anti-slip surface benefits all pedestrians. Installation is fast — adhesive, pin or self-adhesive backing — with no need to stop the operation of the site. All products comply with GOST R 52875 and O'z DSt.

Frequently asked questions

What material is the tactile tile made of?
Depending on where it is used, PVC, steel and rubber-based versions are available. Outdoor areas get a frost- and moisture-resistant type; indoor areas get a version rated for heavy foot traffic. All versions have an anti-slip surface and keep their colour over time. A specialist will advise which material suits your site during a free consultation.

Where are tactile tiles required?
At the start and end of stair flights, before pedestrian crossings, near lifts and entrance doors, and at points where the direction of travel changes. They act as a warning and guidance signal for people with visual impairments. Warning and directional types are selected separately according to the purpose of the zone.

How long does installation take?
It depends on the area and the condition of the base, but a single site is usually completed in 1-2 days. The Qulay Makon team handles measurement, delivery and installation, and clears the area afterwards. The service covers Tashkent and every region of Uzbekistan — the exact timeline is set after a site survey.

What standards does the product comply with?
It is manufactured in line with the current construction norms and state standards for adapting the environment for people with disabilities. This matters when a site is handed over and inspected, because accessibility work has to be documented. Qulay Makon supplies every product with technical documentation and, where required, data confirming compliance.

How can I place an order and pay?
You can submit a request directly on the site, call us by phone or write on Telegram. An operator will confirm the details, check availability and prepare a calculation. Payment can be made in cash, by bank transfer or online. For companies, a contract, invoice and the full set of documents are prepared.

Are there terms for large orders?
Yes. For fully equipping a school, hospital, shopping centre or other facility, a separate commercial offer is prepared and the price is revised according to volume. In such projects the measurement, delivery and installation are planned in stages. The document package required for tenders and public procurement is also provided.
