T-shaped sink handrail (wall + floor leg, art. П4824-У) — stainless steel

1. First measure the washbasin size and the wall-floor clearances
2. Mark the upper horizontal on the wall at the sink height (about 800–850 mm)

What material and diameter is the grab rail?
It is made from stainless or powder-coated steel tube. The diameter is chosen in the 32-50 mm range so the fingers can wrap fully around the rail for a secure grip. The surface is smooth with a non-cold coating and resists both moisture and disinfectants used in public buildings.

How is the grab rail fixed to the wall?
It is anchored into the load-bearing wall. Separate fixing solutions are used for brick, concrete and plasterboard walls — plasterboard requires an additional reinforcing plate. When installed correctly the rail supports a point load of more than 100 kg and lasts for many years of daily use.

At what height is it installed?
The standard height is 70-85 cm from floor level. In sanitary rooms it is placed next to the toilet and washbasin; in corridors it follows a continuous route of travel.
