Description

Audio-tactile help call system — complex

Independent help call for the disabled (wheelchair users, the elderly, the blind/deaf) — calling a staff member with one button press, confirmation by an audio message.

A complex of 4 components:

  1. A yellow metal stand — a structure installed on a wall or floor (1500×400×200 mm, steel, the base coated with black powder paint).
  2. A yellow audio sign for the disabled — a yellow background + an audio bell symbol + a wheelchair + Braille (200×200 or 300×300 mm).
  3. A help call button — a white plastic housing, a red press button (80×80×30 mm, press force < 5 N — light for the disabled/elderly). Connection: wired 24V DC or wireless (433 MHz / Wi-Fi).
  4. A receiver — a red/black compact device (in the staff room). A voice message («Help needed in room N»), an LED indicator, a history log (the last 100 calls).

3 help functions (Universal Design):

  • Visual: yellow background, red button, LED indicator
  • Tactile: Braille, a physical press button
  • Audio: a voice message, a bell sound (with an induction loop also for the deaf/hard of hearing — IEC 60118-4).

Use scenarios:

  • An accessible government institution entrance — a wheelchair user calls a staff member
  • An accessible hotel room — a patient requests help
  • An accessibility zone in a shopping centre — service is required
  • An accessibility department in a university/lyceum — a student requests help
  • A hospital reception — a call from where the patient is lying

SP 59 mandatory requirement: Section 5.5.3 (audio-visual alerting for the disabled), Section 8.1.7 (help-call means for the disabled) — checked in large government institutions.

Technical specifications: 12V/24V DC, 5-15W, operating temperature -10°C…+40°C, audio power 65-85 dB (adjustable), wired range 30 m, wireless 30-100 m, service life 50,000 hours (10+ years).

Set: this system + QM-EVAK-LED-SCROLL-RED-001 (LED running text — «Help request» text) + QM-EVAK-INFO-POINT-001 (green information point) = a complete package.

Frequently asked questions

What material is the tactile tile made of?
Depending on where it is used, PVC, steel and rubber-based versions are available. Outdoor areas get a frost- and moisture-resistant type; indoor areas get a version rated for heavy foot traffic. All versions have an anti-slip surface and keep their colour over time. A specialist will advise which material suits your site during a free consultation.

Where are tactile tiles required?
At the start and end of stair flights, before pedestrian crossings, near lifts and entrance doors, and at points where the direction of travel changes. They act as a warning and guidance signal for people with visual impairments. Warning and directional types are selected separately according to the purpose of the zone.

How long does installation take?
It depends on the area and the condition of the base, but a single site is usually completed in 1-2 days. The Qulay Makon team handles measurement, delivery and installation, and clears the area afterwards. The service covers Tashkent and every region of Uzbekistan — the exact timeline is set after a site survey.

What standards does the product comply with?
It is manufactured in line with the current construction norms and state standards for adapting the environment for people with disabilities. This matters when a site is handed over and inspected, because accessibility work has to be documented. Qulay Makon supplies every product with technical documentation and, where required, data confirming compliance.

How can I place an order and pay?
You can submit a request directly on the site, call us by phone or write on Telegram. An operator will confirm the details, check availability and prepare a calculation. Payment can be made in cash, by bank transfer or online. For companies, a contract, invoice and the full set of documents are prepared.

Are there terms for large orders?
Yes. For fully equipping a school, hospital, shopping centre or other facility, a separate commercial offer is prepared and the price is revised according to volume. In such projects the measurement, delivery and installation are planned in stages. The document package required for tenders and public procurement is also provided.
