Sink support handrail (horizontal + lower loop) — stainless steel

For people with disabilities, the elderly and patients. Protects against falling while washing hands at the sink and takes the load off the washbasin. Used in government and private adapted restrooms.

1. Install the handrail only on a strong, load-bearing wall, under the sink
2. The lower loop must sit with a 5–10 mm gap from the sink
3. Mark the holes of the 2 wall flanges, fix with dowels+screws
4. Fit the cover flanges and check the strength

What material and diameter is the grab rail?
It is made from stainless or powder-coated steel tube. The diameter is chosen in the 32-50 mm range so the fingers can wrap fully around the rail for a secure grip. The surface is smooth with a non-cold coating and resists both moisture and disinfectants used in public buildings.

How is the grab rail fixed to the wall?
It is anchored into the load-bearing wall. Separate fixing solutions are used for brick, concrete and plasterboard walls — plasterboard requires an additional reinforcing plate. When installed correctly the rail supports a point load of more than 100 kg and lasts for many years of daily use.

At what height is it installed?
The standard height is 70-85 cm from floor level. In sanitary rooms it is placed next to the toilet and washbasin; in corridors it follows a continuous route of travel. Are there terms for large orders?
Yes. For fully equipping a school, hospital, shopping centre or other facility, a separate commercial offer is prepared and the price is revised according to volume.
